Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we extend a warm invitation to attend the 2008 ASP & ARC/NHMRC Research Network for Parasitology Annual Conference, which will be held between Sunday 6 and Wednesday 9 July at the Stamford Grand Hotel, Glenelg, South Australia.

This Conference will be an opportunity for parasitologists from Australia, and around the world, to discuss the latest research and state-of-the-art technologies in parasitology. The Conference will include the following themes:

  • Host-Parasite Interactions
  • Apicomplexan Organelle Biology
  • Parasite Proteases
  • Plant Parasitic Nematodes
  • Parasites in Aquaculture
  • State-of-the-Art Technologies: Proteomics
  • Sustainable Worm Control in Grazing Livestock

The conference will run over four days beginning with a Welcome Reception on the evening of Sunday the 6th of July, 2008. The scientific programme starts on the morning of Monday the 7th of July, and will culminate with the Conference Banquet on the evening of Wednesday the 9th.
